This is a developing story check back for updates.

Today is National Public Lands Day, so there was heavier than usual traffic in the area. Please avoid the area and expect delays.

2021 #PublicLandsDay will be remembered for this 100% preventable double fatal in the scenic loop. Unfortunately this is becoming the normal, but 3-4 fatalities a day is the furthest thing from normal. #LivesAreOnTheLine @ZeroFatalsNV https://t.co/aa9eln16lz
