Liberty High School Student Honored at Thespian Festival | Arts & Culture
A local high school student was honored at one of the most prestigious theatre showcases in the world.
Liberty High School student Jason Kreitz was one of 12 students selected to perform in the National Individual Events at the International Thespian Festival in Lincoln, Nebraska in July.
Kreitz had to endure a week-long audition process which included 800 students from across the globe. He was asked to perform “Alive” from the musical “Jekyll and Hyde.”
The young Liberty High School student received a perfect score from a panel of six judges. Kretiz is under the direction of Liberty theatre director Sharon Chadwick.
