Gospel Fest Wraps Up This Weekend | Arts & Culture

This weekend is the last weekend for Gospel Fest at the Henderson Pavilion.

The festival is sponsored by KCEP Power 88.1 FM and is a celebration of music, history and culture. Admission to the festival is free.

Besides local gospel singers and choirs, there is also a family fun zone, food vendors and retailers.  

Gates open at 5 p.m. Friday and the concert starts at 6 p.m. The gates open at 11 a.m. Saturday and the entertainment starts at noon. Activities Saturday include a fashion show set for 4:30 p.m.

This is the first year that the festival has been expanded for two weekends.
