Students Find Lots Ways to Help People in Need
Charity

Liberty High School students did what they could to help people in need this year through a series of toy and clothing drives.

The school's student council held a toy drive and collected nearly 100 donates for special education students at nearby elementary schools.

The school's SAVE Club, which stands for Students Against Violence Everywhere, also got into the act. It collected coats and jackets for Safe Nest, a shelter for women and children escaping domestic violence.

Several clubs at the school donated to a Title I HOPE stocking drive. The students donated 94 stockings filled with toys.

The Key Club organized a sock drive that collected more than 500 pairs of socks for the Las Vegas Outreach Center.
