Holiday Lights Return to the Cactus Garden | Community Spirit
A southern Nevada holiday tradition returns for its 20th year Tuesday.
Once again, the Ethel M Chocolates' Factory will light up its Cactus Garden for the holiday season.
The celebration will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday with the lighting ceremony set for about 6:10 p.m. The celebration will include live music, local officials, comedian George Wallace and a visit from Santa Claus. Tickets to the event are available at the factory.
The garden is free and open to the public starting Wednesday and will be open through January 1.
Every year the garden, which is situated behind the Ethel M Chocolates' Factory, is fitted with half a million lights over three acres. There is also live entertainment Fridays and Saturdays. Santa pictures are available Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.
