A drug enforcement task force known as SCORE and the FBI SWAT team arrested 55-year-old David Allen Garretson just before 6 a.m. Thursday at a home near Windmill Lane and Placid Street.

Garretson is facing numerous federal charges, including manufacturing a controlled substance, maintaining a drug-involved premises, and possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute.

Garretson was arrested in November on state charges stemming from the bust of a marijuana grow house at his home. According to the drug enforcement task force, marijuana plants worth $600,000, 21 firearms and $17,796 in cash were found at the house.

The state charges were later dismissed to clear the way for a federal indictment.
