Police Looking for Man Who Robbed Store

Metro Police are looking for a man who robbed a business near Maryland and St. Rose parkways.

According to police, on Feb. 4, while the man was purchasing items at the store, he used force on the clerk to leave without paying for merchandise. He then fled from the store, police said.

Man Arrested in Series of Target Store Thefts

Henderson Police have arrested a man in connection with thefts at two Target stores in Henderson.

Police arrested 30-year-old Harold Joseph Michael on charges of burglary, grand larceny, petit larceny, conspiracy and possession of burglary tools.

According to police, Michael stole several items from the Target store at 605 N. Stephanie Street and 350 W. Lake Mead Pkwy. He took items in five different incidents, police said. Small electronics were the most common items stolen.

Police are investigating Michael and believe he may be responsible for a series of thefts at Target stores in Las Vegas and North Las Vegas.

Henderson Police Search for Men Who Robbed Video Game Stores

Henderson Police are looking for two men who robbed two Game Stop stores and tried rob another in January.

According to police, the men robbed two different Game Stop locations and tried to rob another store on three different dates, Jan. 15, 18 and 19.  The first robbery and the attempted robbery involved just one man. The third robbery involved both men.

In each robbery, the men entered the store, confronted the clerk with a handgun then demanded money and electronics.  

In the first and third robbery, the men were able to get away with money. During the attempted robbery, the cashier could not open the register and the man left.

The first man is described as a black man in his early 20s. He is between 5 foot 6 and 5 foot 8 with an average build. The second man is black man also in his early 20s. He is between 5 foot 6 and 5 foot 8 with an average build.

Suspect Arrested in String of Robberies

Henderson Police have arrested a man in connection with a series of robberies at retail and convenience stores.

According to police, 42-year-old Brandon Sprout was arrested Friday after he tried to rob a Target.

When police searched Sprout's apartment, they say they found evidence linking him to two robbery and two attempted robbery cases that happened between Dec. 13 and Jan. 3.

In each incident, police say the suspect approached an employee, threatened them with a knife and demanded cash. In the two robberies, the suspect was able to get away with an undisclosed amount of cash. In the two attempted robberies, he left empty handed. No one was hurt in any of the robberies.

The businesses that were targeted was a Metro Pizza, a Rebel gas station, a Target store and a Walgreens drugstore.

Police Search for Man Who Robbed Bank

Henderson Police are looking for a man who robbed a bank branch Saturday.

According to police, the man walked into the Wells Fargo bank at 1411 West Sunset Road about 1 p.m.

The man approached a teller and handed her a note demanding money. The teller removed cash from her drawer and gave it to the man. He then left the bank.

In the note, the man implied that he had a gun, but no gun was shown.

The man was wearing a hooded sweatshirt pulled close around his face and a white sock on his left hand.

He is described as a white man in his 30's. He is between 6 foot 3 and 6 foot 4 and weighs about 200 pounds.

Henderson Police Searching for Hat-Wearing Bank Robber

Henderson Police are searching for a man in connection with two bank robberies and one attempted robbery over the past three months.

The latest attempted robbery happened Friday at a Wells Fargo branch on South Stephanie Street. According to police, the man walked into the bank at around 3:50 p.m. and handed a teller a note demanding money.

Instead of giving the man money, the teller went to the floor. The suspect eventually left the bank without any cash. In the note, the man claimed he had a gun; however, no gun was shown.

Police believe the same man is responsible for robbing two other banks, a Chase Bank branch at 10624 South Eastern Avenue on Sept. 4 and a Chase Bank branch at 637 North Stephanie Street on Oct. 7.

Police say that in every case the man has worn a hat, usually a fedora, pulled down to the sunglasses he is wearing. He has also used a note demanding money in each case.

Police Search for Man Who Attacked and Robbed Elderly Victim

Henderson Police are searching for a man who robbed an elderly man at Sunset Station.

According to police, the 96-year-old victim, who uses a walker, was attacked and robbed at about 4 p.m. Wednesday.

The victim was hospitalized because of the attack.

Casino surveillance cameras captured video of the man police say attacked the victim.
