60s Icons Plan Appearance at Green Valley Ranch Resort | Entertainment

Tickets go on sale Friday for the southern Nevada stop on The Monkees summer tour.

The band made famous by hit songs and a hit TV show in the 60s will take the stage at Green Valley Ranch Resort Saturday, August 10.

All of the remaining Monkees will part of the lineup, including Michael Nesmith, Micky Dolenz and Peter Tork. They'll play some of their greatest hits such as "Last Train to Clarksville" and "I'm a Believer", plus some songs they have not played since the 60s.

VIP ticket packages go on sale Wednesday. The packages include a copy of the upcoming deluxe edition of "The Monkees Present" and can be purchased exclusively at monkees.com.

Tickets are $35, $50, $65 and $79 plus tax and applicable fees. Those tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday through sclv.com/conerts or through ticketmaster.com.
