Kiosk Offers Information about Cleanup Efforts | Environment

The Nevada National Security Site is now offering information about efforts to clean up nuclear test locations.

The NNSS has installed an information kiosk at the Paseo Verde Library in Henderson. People can access information through a simple touch screen. The kiosk includes topics on cleanup efforts, groundwater characterization, and radioactive waste disposal.

The kiosk also includes information on national security and historic nuclear testing. The kiosk will remain at the Paseo Library for three months. It will then move to various locations around southern Nevada.
