HENDERSON (AP) -- Authorities are identifying a 21-year-old motorcyclist from Henderson who died after a weekend crash with a Henderson city utility truck on a residential street.
The Clark County coroner said Monday the death of David Doss was an accident.
Police say Doss died of multiple injuries at Sunrise Hospital & Medical Center several hours after he was thrown from a Suzuki GSXR 600 motorcycle through the windshield of a Ford F-150 pickup a little before 4 p.m. Saturday.
Henderson police say 24-year-old Danielle Havis received minor injuries in the crash at Whitney Ranch Drive and Plain Sight Avenue. She's a city employee and was working when the crash occurred.
Witnesses tell police the motorcycle was speeding before the crash.
Police are investigating. It's the seventh fatal crash in Henderson this year.
