Coroner Investigating 2-Month-Old's Death | News

LAS VEGAS -- The Clark County Coroner's Office confirmed it is investigating the death of a two-month-old child.

The child died Tuesday at St. Rose Dominican Hospitals, Siena Campus.

Metro police said dispatch received a call just before 3 p.m. Tuesday about a baby who was not breathing. The parents tried to revive the infant using CPR, as did Metro officers who arrived, police said. 

Metro's Abuse and Neglect unit also responded, but are waiting for the coroner's office to make a ruling before proceeding with an investigation, police said.

The cause of death and the child's identity is not yet known.
