Henderson Olive Garden Reopens After Fire
News

HENDERSON -- An Olive Garden restaurant closed by a two-alarm fire in December is ready to again open for business.

Darden Restaurants spokesperson Tara Gray said the restaurant was closed for two weeks while repairs to the roof, building exterior and employee restrooms were made.

Fire crews from Clark County and Henderson fire departments extinguished the fire Dec. 27 at 4400 E. Sunset Road in Henderson.

According to fire officials, the two-alarm fire started in the restaurant's utility room, possibly in an ice machine, and traveled to the attic. The restaurant was evacuated and no one reported any injuries.

Damage is estimated at $60,000.
