News

LAS VEGAS -- A Henderson man is dead after driving his car into oncoming traffic about 11 a.m. Wednesday.

According to Metro Police, the 64-year-old man was driving west on Patrick Lane, near Eastern Avenue, when he drove into oncoming traffic and hit a curb. He then hit two trees and re-entered the road, crossing all lanes and then hitting another curb.

He was taken to Sunrise Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

The police said speed does not appear to be a factor in the crash, and it is unknown whether he was suffering from a medical condition.

His name and cause of death will be released by the Clark County Coroner's Office.
