Six Businesses Cited for Serving Alcohol to Minors

Henderson Police cited six businesses in the city for selling alcohol to people who are underage.

The citations were part of the city's alcohol compliance checks. With the help of underage volunteers, Henderson officers checked 65 bars, restaurants and other establishments where people can buy and drink alcohol. The checks were done Saturday night and early Sunday morning.

Of the 65 establishments that were checked, 59 did not sell alcohol to the volunteers; however, six businesses did.

Fifteen of the 65 places that were checked had failed a compliance check in April. Of the 15 that were checked again, five were cited for a second time, including:

  • Black Mountain Grill, 11021 S. Eastern Avenue
  • Eldorado Casino, 140 S. Water Street
  • Gold Mine Tavern, 23 S. Water Street
  • PT’s Gold, 2890 Bicentennial Parkway
  • Sunset and Vines, 40 Costa di Lago

The businesses that was cited for failing for the first time was a Buffalo Wild Wings at 617 Mall Ring Circle.

The person who actually serves the alcohol is cited and faces a maximum penalty of six months in jail and/or a $1,000 fine.

The owners or managers of a business that fails a second or third time can be cited and can have their business license revoked.
