A fire damaged a home in Henderson overnight and displaced two people and their two pets.

According to the Henderson Fire Department, crews responded to the fire at a home near Horizon Ridge Parkway and Mission Drive just before midnight Thursday. They found heavy smoke and flames coming from the garage of the two-story home.

The homeowners were able to get out of the home with their two pets. They told firefighters they opened the door into the garage and there was an explosion throughout the garage.

Fire investigators are looking into the cause of the fire, but they have determine that it is accidental. The loss is estimated at $200,000.
