Huge Consignment Sale Planned for this Weekend

One of the most popular ways for savvy moms to save some money will be returning to southern Nevada this weekend.

The annual As They Grow Henderson Sale starts Friday afternoon. The group has been collecting new and gently used baby and children's items from around the valley for several weeks.

Thousands of items, including baby clothes, strollers and toys, will be organized and placed for sale at 9850 South Maryland Parkway, which is on the southeast corner of Silverado Ranch Boulevard and Maryland Parkway.

The sale will be from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday and then from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday. There is a $2 cash-only entry fee that is good for the whole weekend. Kids and adults with a military ID are free.

The event is a consignment shop with those who registered their items keeping 65 to 75 percent of the sale price. Unfortunately, the registration period for this sale is over. There is another sale planned for a Summerlin location in the fall.

The items that are left after the sale will be donated to local charities such as Baby's Bounty, Peggy's Attic and Women's Resource Medical Centers of Southern Nevada.
