Barley's Hosts Annual Brewfest

Enjoy some cold brews on a hot weekend.

Barley's Casino & Brewing Company, 4500 E. Sunset Road in Henderson, will host its eighth annual Brewfest from 3 to 9 p.m. Saturday, featuring specialty brews from more than 25 breweries. Tickets are $30 per person at the door. A $5 sandwich menu will be offered.

Tropical Smoothie Cafe in Henderson Goes 24-Hour

Tropical Smoothie Café will celebrate its 10-year anniversary in southern Nevada in mid-April with a pair of special offers and a new schedule.

The flagship store located at Eastern Avenue and Horizon Ridge Parkway in Henderson will permanently switch to a 24-hour schedule on April 18. This store is offering two anniversary specials:

  • On April 18, customers at this location who purchase a smoothie at regular price can get any sandwich or wrap for only 10 cents.
  • From April 18-24, all customers who visit this store between midnight and 6 a.m. and mention “10-year anniversary” will get 50 percent off of their entire order.

Six of the 19 Las Vegas-area stores are among the top 10 in sales throughout the company’s more than 285 locations. The top-selling store within the entire company is located at Flamingo and I-215.

Henderson residents will soon have another option for dining out- BBQ restaurant Famous Dave's is opening a new location this upcoming Monday! The popular chain will be found at Mall Ring Circle by the Galleria Mall. To celebrate opening the new restaurant, there will be a "rib" cutting ceremony at 10 am, along with an ember ceremony in tribute to the founder's Native American heritage.

Hash House A Go Go teams with St. Baldrick’s Foundation  for National Pancake Week

This week, March 7th- 14th, is National Pancake Week! Hash House a Go-Go is celebrating by offering 3 specialty types of pancakes, housemade Irish oatmeal, butterscotch chip and almond. A portion of the proceeds from the specialty pancakes will be going to the St. Baldrick's Foundation, which helps fund promising research into childhood cancers. The pancakes will be available at all 3 of the Hash House locations in the valley this week.
