Liberty Grad Wins Year of Free Groceries from Fresh & Easy
By Joshua Wikler

When Eimi Marritt graduated from Liberty High School in June, she immediately began to focus on college, and expenses are always at the forefront of any freshman's mind.
Luckily, Marritt will not have to worry about paying for groceries for a while as the winner of a contest at the grocery chain Fresh & Easy. Marritt entered a graphic design in the company's "Design-A-Bag" contest where entrants were asked to come up with a colorful image to be placed on the reusable bags sold by the market.
"I was really surprised [when I found out that I won]," Marritt said in a Q&A on Fresh & Easy's website. "I'm going to the University of Nevada, Reno and didn't get any scholarships, so [what] I won from this contest will help me pay for food when I move into the dorms."
