Registration for City of Henderson Parks and Recreation Department fall classes, events and programs opens at 5 a.m. on Monday, Aug. 15. People may register online, by mail, using a City of Henderson self-serve kiosk located at City Hall, Black Mountain Recreation Center, and Henderson Multigenerational Center, or in person at any recreation center. Early registration is recommended as many classes fill up quickly.

“Previously we had different registration dates depending on the method of enrollment,” said Kim Becker, Communications & Marketing supervisor, City of Henderson Parks and Recreation Department. “While more than 95 percent of our patrons register online, there are some who don’t have a credit or debit card or don’t have online access so they must register by mail or in person. Having a single start date for all registration methods now ensures everyone has an equal opportunity to sign up for the programs they want.”
