Driving You Crazy: Traffic light at Eastern and Siena Heights
News

HENDERSON, Nev. - A viewer says the traffic light at Eastern Avenue and Siena Heights Drive causes unusually long delays.

Traffic8 investigated and discovered there was a problem at this intersection, but it was not the traffic light. The detection camera was malfunctioning. That's the reason drivers had to wait multiple cycles for a green light.

Traffic8 reached out to the City of Henderson. Crews have replaced the faulty camera, and it should now be working and easing traffic delays in the area.

Malfunctioning traffic lights and detection cameras can make drivers late to work or lead to some drivers running traffic lights that take too long to turn green. Often, the light needs to be reset or the detection camera needs to be replaced.
