Police: Man robs bank inside grocery store

LAS VEGAS -- Metro Police are looking for a suspect who robbed a bank inside a grocery store.

The robbery took place on Sept. 15 at a Smith's grocery store on Windmill Lane near Eastern Avenue around 6:20 p.m.

According to police, the suspect spoke briefly with the bank teller before he stepped away to take a phone call. When he returned, he passed a note to the teller demanding money.

The suspect is described as a white male, approximately 35 years old, 6' 3" tall and around 280 pounds. The suspect has a lazy eye and was wearing a blue Texans ball cap, blue polo shirt with a thin white stripe, blue jeans and tennis shoes.

The suspect left the store with an undisclosed amount of money.
