Driving You Crazy: Bumpy stretch of Wigwam at Pecos
News

HENDERSON, Nev. - Rebecca says the left turn lane from Wigwam Parkway to northbound Pecos Road is so bumpy it's ridiculous. She asks if the road can be repaved.

Traffic8 contacted the City of Henderson. City representatives say crews will repave that area, but that's not all the work to be done.

Work on those lanes is part of Henderson's Pecos Project which will fix Pecos from Windmill Parkway to Robindale Road. The design plans are nearly complete and Henderson's public information officer says bids for construction should go out in 30 to 35 days.

Drivers can expect construction to start in four to five months. Once construction begins, drivers should take Eastern Avenue or Green Valley Parkway to avoid potential slow downs.
