This Fourth of July celebrate the holiday at one of the pools, parks or recreation centers run by the City of Henderson.

The city is keeping all of those facilities open for Independence Day which lands on a Monday.  All 52 city parks will be open during normal hours which is 6 a.m. to midnight. The six recreational centers in the city will be open during regular hours which are 5 a.m. to 7 p.m. The Heritage Park Senior Center is open until 10 p.m.

 All of the city pools will be open. Admission is $1 to $3 depending on the facility. Children under 2 are free. Children 8 and under must be accompanied by an adult who must stay within arms reach at all times. 

Hours are 5:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.:

  • Henderson Multigenerational Indoor, Competition, and Activity pools, 250 S. Green Valley Pkwy.
  • Heritage Park Aquatic Complex, 310 S. Racetrack Rd.
  • Whitney Ranch Indoor Pool, 1575 C Galleria Dr.

Hours are 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.: 

  • Black Mountain Aquatic Complex, 599 Greenway Rd.
  • BMI Outdoor Swimming Pool, 105 W. Basic Rd.
  • Silver Springs Outdoor Swimming Pool, 1951 Silver Springs Pkwy.
  • Wells Outdoor Swimming Pool, 1640 Price St.
  • Whitney Ranch Activity Pool, 1575 B Galleria Dr.
