Time to get your mutt out of the house again for some fun in Henderson.

The City of Henderson will host the 10th annual Bark In the Park from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Saturday, March 2, at Cornerstone Park, 1600 Wigwam Pkwy.

Admission is free and leashed dogs are allowed.

Bark In the Park features contests, vendor booths, entertainment, and demonstrations by the City of Henderson Police Department K-9 Unit and Atomic Dogs. Pet adoptions will also be available on-site.

“More than 500 dogs have been adopted at Bark In the Park over the last nine years, which means some wonderful animals have found their forever homes and many families have had their lives enriched too,” Mayor Andy Hafen said.

All dogs must be leashed and be handled by a person at least 10 years of age. Owners are responsible for cleaning up after their pets.
